life is a gift

The gift is a journey, and it will be anything but boring.

There will be moments of pure delight and moments of deepest despair. The journey wouldn't be complete without them.

Sometimes we'll travel in clear, sunny weather. Sometimes it will be impossible to see what lies ahead.

The Giver of the gift doesn't necessarily choose the road, and He doesn't create the obstacles we find there. But at every moment along the way, He is with us.

He delights in our joy, and He mourns in our despair.

Everyone is on a journey, and our journeys intersect. The Giver uses every part of every journey to weave a beautiful pattern that emerges in time.

The Giver's time is eternity. He sees more than we do. But we can walk by faith, knowing He is with us for the journey, and knowing that He will make everything beautiful in His own time.
